Florida, February 19 – 22, 2009: Hosted for Steel Soldiers members with an extended invitation to the MVPA, Unimog, Pinzgauer and RR groups. Please feel free to invite, extend and re-post this invitation to your friends, families and web board. MV enthusiasts of all types are welcome, but this event is a private function and is NOT open to the "general public"! Located at 4131 Windwillow Lane, Clermont, FL 34714 vendors are welcome to set up for FREE, Cliff W’s world famous BBQ and catering will provide meals and breakfast is to be added this year. All camping is primitive, but you may bring RV's and travel trailers that are self-contained. There will be a Port-a-Potty on site; we’re working on showers. Admission: Advanced weekend entry registration will be $50 each, $60 per couple; at the door weekend entry will be $70 per person; Advanced DAILY (no overnight camping) entry will be $30 each, $40 per couple; at the door DAILY (no overnight camping) entry will be $40 per person. California, March 28, 2009: 17th annual “AIRSHOW 2009” at the Riverside Airport, Riverside, CA, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Event to include aerobatics, antiques, warbirds, flybys, static displays, pancake breakfast, classic car show, military vehicle show and a kiddie carnival and lots of fun. Arizona, March 28 – 29, 2009: 5th annual “Southwest Military Transport Show” sponsored by the Arizona Historical Military Transport Association at the Commemorative Air Force Museum at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ – home of the B-17G “Sentimental Journey”. Many exciting and unique military vehicles and aircraft on display as well as a military vehicle swap meet, collectibles, food and fun. Vehicles/aircraft from all eras will be on display. A NATIONAL MVPA EVENT: June 13 – July 8, 2009: MVPA’s 2009 Transcontinental Motor Convoy, from Washington, DC to San Francisco, CA. A Convoy of Historic Military Vehicles from all eras following the route taken by the US Army during the 1919 Transcontinental Motor Convoy – the FIRST Motor Convoy across the US! Ohio, July 24 & 25, 2009: Mid-Ohio Military Vehicle Show and Swap Meet at Cardinal Center Campground, Marengo, OH. Exit 30 miles north of Columbus and 30 miles south of Mansfield. Historic military vehicles of all eras, and a huge swap meet for parts, surplus, military collectibles and more. There will be camping and concessions on site.
